Adolescent Therapy

Growing up is tough, but with the right support, teenagers can develop the skills they need to thrive. I specialize in adolescent therapy, helping teens manage anxiety, depression, academic pressure, identity exploration, and interpersonal challenges. With a background as an 8th-grade English teacher in New York City’s public schools, I understand the unique struggles that adolescents face both in and outside of the classroom. My approach blends my experience in education, social work, and psychotherapy to create a space where teens feel understood, supported, and empowered.

My therapy style integrates evidence-based treatments like cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness while maintaining a warm, engaging presence that resonates with teenagers. Whether working with teens experiencing social anxiety, difficulty regulating emotions, or trauma, I meet each client where they are and helps them build confidence, resilience, and healthy coping mechanisms. Therapy sessions are available in-person on the Upper East Side or virtually, ensuring accessibility for busy families and students.
